London has long been a focal point of the global luxury, design and branding industries. SUM, based in Shoreditch, has worked with clients who have built their brands in markets across the globe. We’ve worked with Jimmy Choo, La Perla, Âme diamond jewellery, Boujis, Victoria Beckham and many others, to create brand strategies and identities, and to create their marketing plans and campaigns.

SUM. places a heavy emphasis on the creation of strategic branding approaches for our luxury clients. Before commencing work on, for example, the generation of a brand name, the design of a logo, or the creative direction for a campaign shoot, we first work to develop a brand strategy. It’s a process that’s well worth investing in because it sets all of the creative output into a clearly defined way of thinking.

Once the strategy has been approved, we then produce a range of highly-aesthetic creative assets which position the brand as having high credibility within the world of luxury.


LUXURY BRANDING CASE STUDY: JIMMY CHOO

SUM. was approached by Jimmy Choo to deliver a branding, packaging, and marketing strategy, with an aim to establish Jimmy Choo as the go-to luxury brand.

The resulting branding and packaging captured the fashion brand’s unique voice in the luxury space and with SUM’s help Jimmy Choo created a thriving international luxury brand in less than ten years.

Due to the long-term nature of the relationship, our engagement was multi-phased to build awareness up to various launches.

Our work has spanned across strategy, branding, content, digital, marketing, and print.


LUXURY BRANDING CASE STUDY: ÂME DIAMOND JEWELLERY

Founded in 2018, Âme is an unconventional and innovative fine jewellery brand, rooted in lab grown diamonds, that sets out to create a new set of rules within the world of luxury. 

With design at its heart and ethical values in its soul, the brand only uses cultured Âme-grown diamonds. 

Conceived by SUM. – from the brand identity to overall business strategy. SUM. also designed the entire digital experience, from product pages through to Âme Stories, the brand’s dedicated editorial hub. We ensured that the website had beautiful, engaging photography assets that reflect the individual spirit of the collection.

We launched with a campaign photographed by internationally renowned fashion photographer Lachlan Bailey featuring model Sophie Koella.
