When Adwords science meets luxury brand creativity

Vitkac is a luxury fashion retailer that stocks a broad range of high-end brands including Gucci, Moncler, Balenciaga, Versace, Vetements, and Acne.

In Autumn 2021 SUM was approached by Vitkac to manage their significant Adwords account for the UK market.

Their campaigns had already been running for some years, and this enabled the process to commence by using an extensive set of historic data points to pinpoint exactly where new value could be added.

With the critical Christmas period and sales fast approaching the client requested that initial the focus should be placed on quick wins, with an aim to reduce the cost-per-sale in the short term, along with a longer-term goal to expand activity in the new year.

Having identified the key areas of potential SUM was soon able to optimise the campaigns and succeeded in reducing cost-per-sale by over 65% during the first three months.

This freed up extra budget for allocation to the most productive areas of the account, which in turn enabled overall Vitkac sales to grow by 250%. This sales growth was achieved by using the precise same budget.

Unsurprisingly, traffic also jumped - by over 300%, resulting in a much larger retargeting funnel. In the coming months, this larger consumer base will enable Vitkac to further grow its sales.
